Heat Resistant PTFE Fiberglass Tape

Heat Resistant PTFE Fiberglass Tape is made from high-strength fiberglass fabric coated with PTFE resin and combined with a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive. The PTFE surface provides excellent non-stick properties, low friction, chemical resistance and heat resistance, while the fiberglass substrate provides dimensional stability and mechanical strength.

This PTFE adhesive tape is suitable for high-temperature sealing, heat sealing equipment, release applications, electrical insulation, packaging machinery and other industrial processes where a durable, non-stick and heat-resistant adhesive tape is required.

Available in brown, black and white, with standard and customized thicknesses, widths and lengths to meet different industrial requirements.

Features:

High Temperature Resistance – Suitable for applications up to approximately 260°C, depending on the application and operating conditions.
Non-Stick PTFE Surface – Provides a smooth, low-friction surface for easy release and reduced material adhesion.
Fiberglass Reinforcement – High-strength fiberglass fabric improves dimensional stability and durability.
Excellent Chemical Resistance – Resistant to many chemicals, solvents and corrosive substances.

PTFE Fiberglass Tape Structure

The tape consists of several functional layers:

1. PTFE Coating

The PTFE coating provides the tape with its characteristic non-stick, low-friction, chemical-resistant and heat-resistant surface.

2. Fiberglass Fabric

The fiberglass substrate provides mechanical reinforcement, tensile strength and dimensional stability, allowing the tape to maintain its structure under demanding operating conditions.

3. Silicone Adhesive

The silicone adhesive provides reliable bonding to suitable substrates while maintaining performance in elevated-temperature applications.

4. Optional Release Liner

For wider tape formats or applications where easier handling is required, a release liner can be supplied.

Food, medicine and plastic bag heat seal.

Liner pasting for sliding chute, hopper and aviation mould, can also be applied in the cylinder of slurry machine, thermal plastic& de-moulding, and other industries, which is reusable and easy to replace.

Applicable to other surface treatment which need to be resistant to adhesion, corrosion and high temperature.
